ONE PROBLEM WITH the Harry Potter series is the fact that since it came out, every single person who wears glasses has been called Harry Potter at some stage, regardless of whether or not they look anything like Harry Potter.
The term ‘four-eyes’ fell out of popular usage as a children’s insult some time after the release of the Harry Potter movies.
Has there really been no other pop culture icon with bad eyesight since Harry Potter? We have Conor McGregor, but his glasses are fake and more along the lines of elderly lady on Coronation Street.
So anyway, yesterday Liam Payne met the Queen of England. Before we go on, it’s worth pointing out that Mary Byrne beat him to it.

Now honestly, he looks a bit less like Harry Potter and a bit more like the type of person that the Guy In Your MFA Twitter account is based off of.

Liam tweeted that it was an absolute honour to have met the Queen.

Twitter users pointed out that it wasn’t even the first time, but as far as she’s concerned it might as well have been because he looks like a completely different person to the bald teenager he was on their previous encounter.
You can’t help but wonder what the Queen knows about Liam Payne. Does she even have any idea who he is as an individual? Does she know he has a baby with Cheryl Cole? Does she know he has a tattoo of Cheryl Cole’s eye on his arm so she’s always watching him?
The main reaction on Twitter, was of course, “Liam looks like Harry Potter!”
